Te-Obia Village Deep Water Well Project, Northern Uganda.

Amach Sub County, Lira district, Northern Uganda

Measurable results is pleased to have supported Ryan's Well and their partners to fund construction of a deep water well in Northern Ugananda along with maintenance and WASH training. Te-Obia village is located in Amach Sub County, Lira district, Northern Uganda, and is home for more than 1,254 people. There are currently 280 households residing in this village, and the average household is home to 7 people. The deep well for Te-Obia reaches a maximum depth of 50.5m, and on average, each person is using 25.5 litres of water per day (for drinking and domestic purposes). Despite many challenges due to the global pandemic the well was commissioned in 2021.
